Growing up in Rockville, Maryland, exposed me to many diverse perspectives and shaped how I approach design; listening closely and analyzing user behavior, questioning assumptions, and designing with empathy.
My strengths include generating ideas quickly and creatively reframing problems to bring solutions to life through design.
Over the past year, I’ve worked on 5 real-world projects, reducing operational inefficiencies for nonprofit teams and simplifying complex workflows for users ranging from healthcare staff to young adults with special needs.
As Director of Design at Hack4Impact-UMD, I support 18 designers across 7 project teams in building products for nonprofits by facilitating mentorship and design critiques while encouraging fellow designers in their career growth.
I'm recently getting into weightlifting 💪
I'm minoring in French because I love the language and culture. I recently studied abroad in the beautiful South of France, which broadened my perspective on the world and introduced me to many delicious pastries!
Growing up, I liked playing computer games with friends and definitely watched too many Minecraft YouTube videos 😅
